Steering column. . .

This is a picture of the old steering column that has now been brought up to modern standards. The base of the column has been honey-combed so that it will collapse in case of an accident and the inside shaft has been replaced with a unit from an XD Ford. The modern internal shafts have a sliding telescopic fit so that they will also collapse forward in case of a collision. . .

Notice anything missing from the back of the gearbox? Yeah, the bloody tail shaft. Local diff builder decides to piss off to Surfer's for a weeks holidays and then tries to blame his workers for not sending it while he was away. . .full of shit!
